PLANTing Fiesta - An initiative to bring better and long life

Festivals are the cue to unite the feelings of happiness and harmony in a secular country like India. A florist festival ‘Phool Walon Ki Sair, is one of the examples. Can there be a festival to religiously adopt a sapling to bring a new plant home and take care of it until it grows well to choose a deeper soil support. Plants are outdoor living beings and hence every family should transplant their adopted living member to the nearest public places like parks, roadsides, highways to nurture the travelers. The destined plant should have an exclusive number tag and name tag of the family it belongs to. Whereas not only the members but their many generations will care for such many plants that will be adopted by a family. The idea to bring a new plant home every year and transplant the previous plant to an outdoor space is to bring connectivity and emotional efforts between the family and the plants. Just imagine! The number of plants that can be planted every year by numerous families.

Pollution is one outcome that we have created ourselves which is irreversible. We can’t bring back those lost fireflies blinking around the bushes in the nearby local parks of New Delhi. That must have been a wonderful time when children used to swing on the branches of the banyan trees. Every land building which can be seen today must be a tree bearer for the past homes. Otherwise, What are the possibilities that the great author Rabindranath Tagore narrated ‘The Champa flower’. This is a feeling, a connection, a homely feeling that the children of those eras had with nature's defenders. Not the bricks bring up the strength in humans, it must be the shared strength that a plant synthesized from sun and soil. This charged energy is transfering the strength to hold ourselves as mankind. Shouldn’t it be our united responsibility to pursue nature surrounding, the most important green cover along with modern wires and cables.

I value every word that is presented, as a young published author I feel my responsibility to draw attention to save the dying green cover of the air polluted cities. ‘

Nature's Pleasure’ my short story published in Imagination Takes Flight indicates the same benefits. I should buy many fascinating products easily available in the market, the so-called air-purifiers. But can I swing on them? Can I climb and sit on their laps? If I cannot hug them then what's the point of filtering lungs with non friendly paid products! Efforts to better the air quality should be natural and free for all. Yes! It needs effort to grow at least one plant every year by every one who shares the same air quality.

Capital of India recently holded the G-20 summit and it was the government's efforts that has been seen to decorate the heart of the country with green planters everywhere. The idea of adopting a plant and placing it in a suitable place can only be possible with the government’s joint efforts. It has no cost but raised the value to sustain the natures green cover.

NATURE: THE REAL INSPIRATION

NATURE: THE REAL INSPIRATION

-          Shreya Tewari

Nature has always been calculative and the most vital essence of human existence. There has always been a mutual trade between humans and nature since the early stages of origin of life; hence it is the biggest trade evident till date. The nature consists of five fierce elements Earth, Water Air, Fire and Ether. These elements work at their best potential to create our living, Moreover activities of humans have also been so influenced by these elements so much so that it is now an unseen essential part of commerce.

Commerce stands on the major pillars which are the five elements of nature. One can relate earth with compassion and decisiveness. It symbolizes the foundation on which businesses are built, including manufacturing, agriculture, and construction industries.

In commerce, water can represent the dynamic nature of markets, consumer behavior, and the need for businesses to be flexible in response to changing circumstances. Like water, successful businesses must navigate currents and adapt to various market conditions.

Air describes creativity and communication. Air can be related to the exchange of information, ideas, and knowledge through advertising, marketing, and networking. Just as air is essential for life, effective communication is crucial for businesses to thrive.

Fire is for passion and dynamics. In commerce, fire can represent the entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and the driving force behind businesses' growth and expansion. It symbolizes the intensity and determination required for success in a competitive market.

Ether is the essence and idea. The element of Ether can be related to the purpose and values of a business, its impact on society, and its responsibility to the environment and community.

One lays the foundation of faith, this earth accommodates his industry, and then patiently works like water with his stealth and wealth, these deposits spread like popularity of the idea into the air. Air fills every gap hence it is a symbol of the producer- consumer relation which is transparent and always filled with satisfaction. Then the fire of passion rises the temperature, which showcases success of the idea, as it is best put “sells like hot cakes”. All this however can be acquired when you are confident about your idea and ensure the goodness of its essence. The ether or the spirit of the organization should be pure; it should aim to provide good quality and affordable products without any hazy flimflams.

Commerce should be accountable and grateful to these elements for these are the requisite parts for the establishment of all the great ideas otherwise our big dreams would have always remained groundless. In the end I request everyone to thank nature by spending time to nurture it and to maintain its beauty for ages to come. Let the young generations be inspired by these great elements and let us inculcate the values taught by them.

Global Tiger Day

The vibration of a roaring sound of a wild cat is itself strong enough to put someone’s heart into their mouth. Some tyrants inhuman want to conquer over the soul of the forest. Big cats are naturally wild and we have to accept the supremacy in the forest. Like the chirruping of the birds; like the stream moves freely into the dense forest; like a hippo enjoys the bath in water; similarly a sound of roar deserves to be the part of our planet – not a parted.

While visiting a foreign country, it was observed that people visit the tiger park as they find it passionate to get a picture clicked with an open tiger. But do they realize that tigers have to go through with a huge pain for just being an entertainment piece. They get injected into their mouth to keep mum. How sorrowful it is!

Some click picture for fun and some shoot the wild cats for poaching. In both the situations the natural habitats of wild cats get disturbed and as a result we find the decline in their population.

THINK before you shoot a wild cat they are the soul of our forests not a showbiz.

Rising of India as an economic and military power

“The protectors of the soil are born in the soil and dissolve in the soil, whereas each one of them leaves a spark of dignity forever.” India is known for its rich agricultural land costal area, high peaks and streams. The equation of economy and military is directly proportional as we moved from Kodis to Crores, the army also evolved in terms of ammunition, uniform, skills and strategies. Back from the red and white soldier uniforms the Indian military has evolved to “Pink and Greens” the latest newly equipped uniform of the Indian army. The new army technologies were clearly witnessed with pride by all the Indians on the 73rd Republic Day observed on 26th January. This is a successful year as it signifies the 75th year of Independence from all the evils and problems of our country.

It once had intense stories of bloodshed and sacrifices of warriors. There was a sorrowful time when the mother land was irrigated by the blood of Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Bodh, Marathas and many children of the great land. The strength of the blood had built the foundation of the India of today. Now that we enjoy liberalism we should be aware of the brave and fearless history that our land carries in its roots. For the protection of the soil saviours are born in every era with only passion ‘Patriotism’ and goal is martyrdom for the country.

The economy of India was completely ruined when Britishers left us with empty hands. Their administration had destroyed the soul of our land, the Handicraft industry and the agricultural soil turned barren. India’s golden bird seemed to be caged. To seek work many people were traded as slaves, they had to leave their generation’s old craftworks and were helpless. Since the Second World War India has experienced a lot more than pain in terms of economy, growth and development. In such situation of pressure wars added more pain than sorting things. Fortunately, today’s generation respects the art of craftsmen and has developed it back to life. Indian art forms are now flourishing all across the seven seas, the traditional attires like Kashmiri shawls, the Jaipuri rugs and much more are rocking in the field of Handicraft industry. Hence it has turned out to be an important resource of our economy.

The life of a soldier has been very challenging and their family suffer even more. During the Second World War our countrymen readily fought for the British to seek justice and independence. These soldiers were not greedy for their lives as they dreamt of free India. The zeal of military forces was first shown when Subhash Chandra Bose collaborated the first Indian army, the INA and it had proven its will and strength in the Second World War. It took a lot of time and economic developments to evolve from the infantry and Cavalry to the complex structures of state specific army, Air force, Navy and National Army.  Hence our military forces have strengthened with time and are prospering tremendously with rapid growth and development. When the missile man of India, APJ Abdul Kalam had launched the first missile the whole world witnessed the echoes of the Indian power.

Our ex-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee wanted peace between Pakistan and India by the medium of a train but because of the terrorism tendency they reverted by Pulwama attack. To avenge their misdeeds our President Dr. Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi planned the successful surgical strike which shows the strength and power of the Indian military.

Now we enjoy liberalism, federalism, democratic republic and most importantly equality along with guaranteed rights by the Constitution of India, the credits for all the present developments and safety goes to all the freedom fighters, warriors, soldiers, socialists and the protectors of this land. The difficulties faced by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to unite the Indian states were now reflected as unity in diversity by the 75 colours of versatile cultures portrayed by the flypast on this Republic Day.

We should remember that we all are the children of Mother India and should always respect its dignity. It is our responsibility to follow the path of peace and humanity as shown by the Father of our Nation Mahatma Gandhi and to take India’s pride higher and higher.

 Jai Hind!

Drive Safe-'stop blaming; step learning’

A car bumped into another and both were severely damaged. In that accident, a lady and a man were gravely wounded. While driving the car the lady was talking over the mobile and suddenly the accident occurred. Now one might think that the lady must be the only reason for the occurrence of the accident. Isn’t it true? Then let me clear the air and the answer is a big ‘NO’! Did you ever thought that it is also possible that the man in the other car was drunk and driving! Now take a few minutes to think why do we always blame a lady driver? Just because of ‘her’ gender our minds are set!

It is a human’s tendency to blame someone, so as to get rid of being answerable, people often put the allegation to women drivers. When an accident occurs then it is believed that one of the drivers might be a female, without even thinking over the other side of the story. Similarly, it is believed that if a driver takes a U-turn besides ‘No U-turn’ sign or if someone wrongly parked the vehicle at ‘Towing-Zone’ area then the person might be a female driver. In my opinion, blaming people according to their gender is not the right way. After all, a mistake is a mistake’ no matter who committed it. Gender-based judgments can only cause a hypercritical situation.

       storiesbyshreyatewari.blogspot.com

Rash Driving is not a small problem it is done when someone intentionally break-down traffic rules. Drink and Drive is something like purposely inviting accidents. Lack of responsibility and lack of training is a severe problem in common. When someone commits a mistake whether it is a small or a big; mistake is a fault and in some cases, it could be a blunder too. All the people indulged in that accident are equally the victims as well as they are equally reasonable for the occurrence of the accident. All kind of mistakes committed on the road can lead to grave penalties so it is better to be watchful, careful towards the traffic rules.

At the young age of the high school, students should get formal driving training for two years along with a formal extra curriculum subject. It is said that at learning age one could grasp everything quickly from the environment. If the new generations will be trained by the government as a part of education then we could expect new revolutionary traffic generation on the road. Which will be strictly, thoroughly, trained to set marks on the road. To avoid accidents at an early age, I think that the students of class eleventh and twelfth should be introduced to driving as a co-curricular compulsory subject. We practice reading and writing in school. Similarly, students who will step into the word of driving should be trained to drive well and should be introduced to all the safety rules. Hence new traffic generation will not only get habitual of driving safe; they will also guide others co-drivers on the road.

In the end, let us think that what will be the outcome if we all “stop blaming and step learning”. Don’t blame or criticise someone for your own carelessness and try to be full of patients, be careful, be watchful and follow traffic rules firmly.

#Are Women Liberal!

Nowadays women have been given liberty as she had dreamt-off in the past centuries. Women are creators and nurtures of the family in every era. A woman leads her life as a daughter, sister, friend, wife and mother. She is progressive in all the aspects of life, still, she is not justified as a boss or superior to many superstitious souls of the narrow-minded philosophy.

People can bow down in front of the idioms of goddesses, surprisingly they feel ashamed to accept the capabilities of a woman. Everyone has the same mechanism ‘two hands and legs’ the magnificent thing is that she stands out after performing multiple responsibilities. Yet she is often judged by near ones. Besides thriving a specialized career she also believes in carrying myths for a happy family. Whether she addresses official meetings in the morning or attends house visitors for dining, she is remarkable in all the ways.

https://storiesbyshreyatewari.blogspot.com

We know “officially” women are treated equal to men but has anyone wondered that she does more things at the same time than other people in the house can do. She teaches her children, cooks food, she prepares reports, she can do everything indoor-outdoor given as a task to her. Her limitless capabilities cannot be measured in words.

Is the society willing to accept their new ideas and decisions! After achieving so much a woman is always parted when it comes to decision-making matters of a family, even their presence is taken for granted. Can we say EFFORTLESSLY THAT WOMEN are COMPLETELY LIBERAL and this liberty has not increased their burden?
